Austin Ciuffo is an intellectual property attorney focused on all aspects of patent litigation in district and appellate courts. He’s litigated infringement cases in a wide variety of technologies, including oil and gas, telecommunications, software, semiconductors, artificial reality, intelligent systems, and digital media.
Before entering private practice, Austin helped develop an industry-leading patent litigation funding program that enables patent owners to recoup damages for infringement of their patents.
Austin also serves as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve. He is regularly appointed to adjudicate Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) Article 15 investigations and serves as a certified Victim Advocate.
Austin earned his bachelor’s degree from Wofford College. He then obtained his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and Darla Moore School of Business. While in law school, Austin served as a judicial intern for the Honorable David C. Norton in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
