Louay Meroueh is a registered patent attorney with a background in biomedical science and web development. Louay specializes in patent litigation and also brings experience in prosecution, as well as in patent-specific opinion writing from his service under a federal judge in the Northern District of Illinois.
Louay has worked on patent matters covering a broad spectrum of technologies, including network engineering, software, medical devices, materials science, electrical and chemical engineering, mechanical systems, audio/visual technologies, product design, and pharmaceuticals.
Prior to entering law, Louay’s professional journey included roles as a research scientist, program manager, front-end developer, administrative support professional, tradesman, educator, and entertainer. Through these diverse experiences, Louay has developed and refined his attention to detail, organization, creativity, and communication skills.
He holds a Masters in Medical Science and a Bachelors in Biology, grounding his work in a scientific education that strengthens his analytical and problem-solving abilities.
