Matthew R. Harkins is an associate focusing his practice on all aspects of patent litigation in district and appellate courts. Matt’s litigation practice includes infringement cases in a variety of technologies representative in software, intelligent systems, and digital media.

Prior to joining the firm, Matt litigated a wide range of complex civil litigation matters on behalf of corporate and individual clients, including arguing before the D.C. Court of Appeals on novel legal issues.

In addition to his litigation background, Matt is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) maintained through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). He possesses the knowledge and wherewithal to counsel clients through data privacy and compliance issues.
